This policy explains what information Quickstep (“we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
Information we collect
We collect the information needed to run the service:
- Account details — your name and email address, provided when you sign in with Google or an email link.
- Onboarding details — your market or service area and your brand preferences (such as vibe and colors), so we can tailor your posts.
- Assets you upload — for example a headshot or logo you add to your posts.
- Content we generate — the drafts and captions produced for your account.
- Billing information — handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status but do not store your full card number.
- Basic usage data — standard logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
We use your information to provide the service, generate and deliver your posts, send you product and account emails (such as “your post is ready”), process billing, provide support, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers we rely on
We share information with trusted providers only as needed to run Quickstep:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Stripe — subscription payments.
- Resend — sending product and account emails.
- Anthropic — the AI that drafts your captions and content plans. Your market and brand inputs are sent to generate that content.
- Google — sign-in, if you use it.
- Pixabay — sourced stock photography.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the service. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Data retention
We keep your information while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, or delete your information, or ask questions about it, by emailing help@hiquickstep.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your data, and we'll honor them where they apply.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
Quickstep is for business use by adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the date above.
